With the growth of online courses the focus of insuring the authentication of the students taking these courses and especially taking online assessment is a growing concern. The University of Florida proactively addresses these areas by working with partners ProctorU and ProctorFree who are our preferred online student authentication and online proctoring providers.
The university policy for online assessments and proctoring is that any assessment that equals 15% or more of a student’s final course grade should be utilizing online authentication and proctoring resources.
If you are interested in utilizing ProctorU or ProctorFree with your course assessments please contact Chris Newsom at Distance & Continuing Education.
