Distance & Continuing Education (DCE) provides services to academic units for developing new online programs. These services include:

DCE also provides student support services for nearly 200 online and off-campus Distance Learning programs including Doctorate, Masters and graduate certificate programs. DCE staff is responsible for assisting new and current Distance Learning programs by managing the UF Distance Learning website, coordinating access to Distance Learning student support services offered by various units and assisting academic units with proctoring for online courses.

Academic Credit

  • Program Development (market place viability research & proposal development)
  • Marketing & Engagement
  • Program Support
  • Student Support

DCE also provides student support services for an online campus of over 180 different Distance Learning programs including Doctorate, Masters and Bachelor's degrees. DCE staff is responsible for assisting new and current distance learning programs by managing the UF Distance Learning Website, coordinating access to distance learning student support services offered by various units and assisting academic units with proctoring for online courses.
